In light of recent events, I have decided to write a post explaining why Desean Jackson’s post was unacceptable.
In general, no human being on earth should ever target another community. As I walk out into the streets of my city, I see panicked people. I see people worried about COVID-19. I see people worried about other things, that other humans could not possibly feel the pain.
But even though you can’t see it on someone’s face, humans are always scared of being discriminated against. We are afraid or being ganged up on, cornered, ridiculed. No one should ever have to feel this way. The only reason that people feel this way is people it exists. Hate exists in our communities. Sadly, it’s easy to jump on ship and gang up against a certain community. This should never exist.
NO PERSON WHO IS DIFFERENT SHOULD EVER HAVE TO FEEL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE OR THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN.
I know what you might be thinking. “It’s easy for you to say, you’re just trying to be politically correct.” But this is truly what I believe in. I have heard and seen Anti-Semitic things in my life. And sadly, I have grown accustomed to it.
If you are anti-Semitic, then:
(1) Think about your actions, ideals, and words.
(2) Think about how what you do negatively affects people
(3) Please reconsider
(4) If you are the same way, THEN GET THE HELL OFF OF MY WEBSITE. I WILL NOT STAND WITH SUCH IGNORANT AND SELFISH PEOPLE. I DO NOT CARE THAT I MIGHT LOSE VIEWS. I WELCOME IT IF IT WILL MAKE THE WORLD A SLIGHTLY BETTER PLACE BECAUSE AN ANTI-SEMITIC HAS RECONSIDERED.
This world needs change. With celebrities like Desean Jackson taking Anti-Semitic stands, and celebrities like Stephen Jackson supporting him, we need change.
This kind of hate has no home here. I AM TIRED OF SEEING PEOPLE WALKING ON THE STREETS SCARED TO WEAR A KIPPAH. WE NEED CHANGE, AND WE NEED IT NOW.
I WILL NOT STAND FOR RACIST, ANTI-SEMITIC, ANTI-LGBTQ+, OR ANY OTHER HATEFUL MOVEMENT.
Imagine a world without hate. This world would be a much better place to live. People would walk on the streets not scared to wear a kippah, or any other religious thing. Please. Make this world a better place.
Thank you for reading.
